Monterey Jazz Festival, 2000
This was the first appearance of Young at Heart at a major festival. With so many events going on at different stages, we started out with a medium house. As people heard the groove, they filled it up and people were dancing in the aisles. It was really an uplifting set. Scott Yanow wrote a nice review.
